VOLUME Volume’ is a mathematical quantity that shows the amount of three-dimensional space occupied by an object or a closed surface. The unit of volume is in cubic units such as m 3 , cm 3 , in 3 etc. VOLUME SURFACE AREA Measures the space needed to cover the outside of a three-dimensional shape . Surface area is the sum of the areas of the individual sides of a solid shape. Surface area is measured in square units.
